Salt River Tubing Fun

When the scorching summer heat hits Arizona, there’s one activity that brings some refreshing excitement to locals and visitors alike-Salt River Tubing! Located just a short drive from Phoenix, Salt River Tubing offers a thrilling adventure that combines relaxation, breathtaking scenery, and plenty of fun! Grab your swimsuit and sunscreen and get ready to float!

The natural beauty of the Salt River is just one reason to try this experience. Hidden within the Tonto National Forest, the Salt River winds through the desert landscapes where you will capture some amazing wildlife and vibrant plant life that call this area home. Be prepared to be awestruck by the towering cliffs you pass by!

Before setting off on your tubing adventure, it’s important to be prepared. Make sure you bring along some good sunscreen, waterproof bags or containers, snacks, and hydration!

The Salt River Tubing experience offers various tubing options including a shuttle service to and from different points of the river. If you’re looking for a full day of river fun, then be prepared for a 4-5 hour float depending on the water flow.

If you’re short of time or looking for a quicker tubing adventure, then a mini float is a perfect choice. It covers a shorter distance and takes anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete.

Salt River Tubing also offers Group floats. Bring your family, friends or colleagues and enjoy a fun-filled day of bumping into each other (which is half the fun)!

The fun doesn’t have to stop there. If you’re looking to experience the outdoors at a cooler time, check out an off-roading sunset ATV tour right around the bend from the Salt River.
